Paraffin wax is the most commonly used type of wax in candles and wax melts. Paraffin candles are made from petroleum, which is a nonrenewable source that contains carcinogenic substances. These substances can be released into the air while burning.
My candles are made from Midwest soy beans, supporting local farmers here in the Midwest. With Soy wax being natural, soy candles burn cleaner and longer, releasing less soot. Soy candles are non-toxic so no toxins to be released in to the air as they burn.
Soy wax is also biodegradable making it better than paraffin products for the environment and your health. Soy candles are also much more fragrant. These candles and wax melts cover large areas. They also work great for pet, bathroom, smoke, and other smells.
Soy wax burns at a lower temperature. This makes it a safer choice for families with children and pets. The wax is not normally hot to the touch, which means less burns. Please be careful as every wax melter is different.
